DRC Proctoring
Testing Services provides special accommodation proctoring for students who have a documented learning, mental/emotional or physical disability. If you feel that you may qualify, please see below for steps on how to arrange this service.
Guidelines for Students:
- Contact the Disability Resource Center to apply for, and/or arrange your accommodations if you have not already done so.
- Inform your instructor of your approved accommodations. Your instructor will forward your exam to Testing Services.
- Read the Examinee Guidelines.
- When you are ready to schedule your exam (at least three days in advance) with the Testing Center, enter your appointment date and time into the AIM (Accessible Information Management) system.
- If you need training on how to use the system or if you have problems with login, please contact the Disability Resource Center for assistance.
- Tests will be given by appointment only.
- You must arrive at the Testing Center with enough time remaining in order to complete the exam in the allotted time.
- Contact Testing Services for any questions.
Location: Each campus schedules their own DRC Proctoring exams. Contact the campus nearest you if assistance with registering is needed.

Information for Faculty
- Students should discuss the initiation of the accommodation prior to scheduling a test.
- Complete the Alternative Testing Contract for your student receiving testing accommodations.
- Forward any test materials to Testing Services at least 3 days before the exam deadline.
- Testing Services will notify you by e-mail when the test has been completed. You or someone you designate (must be a Columbia State employee) may pick up the test upon completion.
