CSCC Student & Faculty Exhibition
“The CSCC Student, Faculty & Staff exhibition brought out tremendous talent and participation this year! We had a total of 71 unique works of art in the gallery.” said Pryor Art Gallery curator Lisa Hoffman. Art Studio Alumnus, Ashton Lofback, curated the exhibition and installed the show alongside Ms. Hoffman. Ashton is transferring to MTSU in the Fall to continue her studies in Fine Art and Art Education. The Art Department awarded student cash prizes for first, second and third places. There were also six honorable mentions. Columbia State Foundation, Cabin Coffee and Pryor Art Gallery sponsored staff prizes for first, second and third places with Cabin Coffee gift cards. There were also three honorable mentions. Professor Herbert Cobb and Curator Lisa Hoffman presented the awards. “Professor Clifford Gordon’s work with Art Studio students this year was exceptional in preparing them for the show, and we look forward to next year’s talent!”
