Columbia State Hosts Freshmen and Dual Enrollment Info Session in Spanish & English
Columbia State’s Williamson Campus will host a Freshmen and Dual Enrollment Info Session in Spanish and English on February 2 at 6 p.m. for prospective students and families.
The goal is to provide an opportunity to learn more about Columbia State, the programs and scholarships at the college and education opportunities beyond Columbia State. The session is for prospective students interested in degree programs. The session will be presented in both Spanish and English.
The information sessions are designed for high school juniors and seniors and parents/guardians interested in learning more about dual enrollment classes or attending Columbia State’s Williamson Campus.
“We are excited by the opportunity to serve a portion of the community in a manner that we've not done before,” said Stasa Bakliza, Columbia State enrollment recruiter for the Williamson Campus. “In recent years, the College has seen an increase in the number of Hispanic students that we serve. Our goal in offering this info session is to provide even greater access to members of our community who desire to learn more about the higher education opportunities available in Williamson County.”
The presenters of the event will be Bakliza; Dr. Dearl Lampley, Columbia State Vice President for Williamson Campus and External Services; and Beatriz Parodi, an advocate for the Hispanic community.
The event will be hosted at the Williamson Campus Community Room 221 of the Administration Building located at 1228 Liberty Pike, Franklin, TN 37067.
