Columbia State To Host Adult Learner Workshop in Wayne County
Columbia State Community College will host an Adult Learner Workshop in Wayne County on February 1.
The goal of the workshop is to promote awareness of Columbia State's programs to prospective students in the area. It will cover how Columbia State supports adult learners, along with information about TN Reconnect and academics.
“We are excited to provide the Wayne County community with access to information about Tennessee Reconnect by hosting an information session in partnership with Wayne County Economic Development, Talent Hub and Navigate Reconnect,” said Joni Allison, Columbia State adult student services coordinator. “Tennessee Reconnect provides a wonderful opportunity for eligible adults to retool their skills and attend Columbia State tuition-free.”
The Adult Learner Workshop will take place at the Wayne County Courthouse, Room 400, located at 100 Court Circle, Waynesboro, TN 38485 from 4–6 p.m. Participants are encouraged, but not required, to pre-register at www.ColumbiaState.edu/Reconnect.
