Columbia State Invites Public To Williamson Campus Grand Opening
(COLUMBIA, Tenn. - June 13, 2016) - - - Columbia State Community College is set to celebrate the official grand opening of its new Williamson Campus June 22 at 10:30 a.m. and would like to welcome the community to be a part of the celebration.
"This is a great day for Columbia State," said Dr. Janet F. Smith, Columbia State president. "The beautiful new campus will be a venue of great learning while also being a welcoming, efficient and technologically advanced space for our students and the entire community to enjoy."
The community will get a first-hand look at the new, high-efficiency green campus which features state-of-the-art science laboratories, nursing simulation labs, information technology center, professional sound stage and editing studios, and performing arts training facility with professional recording studio and songwriting lab.
Along with ample parking, the facility houses four electric vehicle charging stations and access to the Franklin Transit trolley system.
The grand opening celebration will take place in front of the Administration Building. The new Williamson Campus is located at 1228 Liberty Pike in Franklin.
