Workforce Development Offers Online Medical Coding

(COLUMBIA, Tenn. - Aug. 27, 2014) - - - In today's job market many people are looking for a new skill set that can lead to employment, and Columbia State Community College's Center for Workforce Development is offering "Online Medical Coding" to those interested in a new career.

Medical coders generally work for hospitals, doctors' offices, insurance companies, outpatient surgery centers, or temporary employment services. The program begins Sept. 15 and takes approximately 36 weeks to complete.
