(COLUMBIA, Tenn. - Jan. 21, 2014) - - - The First Farmers Performance Series presents Franc D'Ambrosio's "Broadway Songs of the Great White Way" at Columbia State Community College's Cherry Theater Feb. 6.

"Mr. D'Ambrosio is a wonderful and talented performer," said Janet F. Smith, Columbia State president. "His show is a great tribute to the songs of Broadway, and Performance Series patrons are sure to be awed by his impressive performance."

Best known as the "Phantom" in Andrew Lloyd Webber's Tony Award winning musical, "The Phantom of the Opera," D'Ambrosio retained the "World's Longest Running Phantom" title for more than a decade. Joining the ranks of Michael Crawford and Sarah Brightman, he is just one of the few "Phantom" alumni to successfully cross over to a solo career.

D'Ambrosio studied under Luciano Pavoratti, has worked with Barry Manilow, and his resume includes an Academy Award nominated film, an Emmy Award nominated television show, four-time Tony nominated Broadway show, two Grammy considerations, and a National Theatre Award nomination.

The critically acclaimed performer currently tours extensively throughout the U.S., Europe and South America, sharing his vibrant voice and legato singing with audiences of all ages.
