(COLUMBIA, Tenn. - Oct. 21, 2013) - - - On Nov. 7, the 2013 - 2014 First Farmers Performance Series brings "An Acoustic Evening with Pam Tillis" to Columbia State Community College's Cherry Theater. An undeniable formidable force in country music, Tillis lays claim to more than six million records sold, 14 Top Five singles and six number-one hits.
"Columbia State is thrilled to have Pam Tillis as part of the Performance Series," said Dr. Janet F. Smith, Columbia State president. "Country music fans are going to enjoy this intimate, close-up performance from one of country music's all-time leading ladies."
Tillis won the coveted Female Vocalist of the Year from the Country Music Association in 1994, and in 2000, she was inducted into the Grand Ole Opry. Three CMA awards, two Grammys and one International Bluegrass Music Association award later, Tillis still composes her own music and has launched her own record label, Stellar Cat Records.
