COMMERCIAL ENTERTAINMENT STUDENTS PRESENT HOLIDAY MUSICAL "HOME FOR CHRISTMAS"
Performances to be Held at the Williamson County Campus on December 3 and 4
(Franklin, Tenn. - November 17, 2010) - - - Columbia State Community College's Commercial Entertainment Department will present their Holiday Musical, "Home for Christmas" on Friday, December 3 and Saturday, December 4 at 7:30 p.m. at the Williamson County Campus. "Home for Christmas" is a delightful and lively holiday musical review that highlights the reasons why people dream of traveling but love being home for the holidays and is sure to offer entertainment for the entire family.
Friday, December 3 performance tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for children 10 years and under. The show begins at 7:30 p.m., with Lobby doors opening at 6:30 p.m.
Tickets for the Dessert Theater performance on Saturday, December 4 are $12 for adults and $8 for children 10 years and under. The show begins at 7:30 p.m., with Lobby doors opening at 6 p.m. and serving beginning at 7 p.m. Advanced ticket purchase is recommended due to limited table seating.
"Our show has a uniquely entertaining collection of holiday music this year, with visits from Mrs. Santa and the Grinch. This professional quality musical review will be featuring our best singers, dancers and actors," said Cathy Hudnall, Program Director and Assistant Professor of Commercial Entertainment at Columbia State. "There will be activities for children in the lobby before the performance and photo opportunities with the performers after the show."
Advanced purchase of tickets is recommended, especially for the Dessert Theater performance, featuring Freddie Smith's Gourmet Desserts.
"The dessert theater gives audiences a more elaborate atmosphere - it's very entertaining and the desserts are divine," said Hudnall. "Guests attending the dessert theater will get a great show, choice of dessert and a beverage."
