September is Suicide Prevention Month. Columbia State is partnering with Cowboy Up, a Maury County suicide prevention program, to bring their Light in the Darkness suicide prevention event to our main Columbia Campus.
Please join us on Thursday, September 24th from 7 pm until 8 pm for a drive-thru on our campus. There will be signs of encouragement on the route and luminaries around the fountain outside Hickman Building honoring those who have passed. Entrance will be by Athletics and Maury County Sherriff’s Office will be directing traffic.
If you have names of a loved ones who have passed by suicide and you would like a luminary to honor them, please submit names by email to Melissa Febbroriello at mfebbroriello@columbiastate.edu. Names must be received by Tuesday, September 22.
