Students, if you love writing poetry and short stories, please join Columbia State for an entire day devoted to you.
Write Generation is generative workshops for college and high school students. The workshops, led by Columbia State’s English faculty, will focus on providing students the opportunity to generate new work through writing prompts and exercises. In addition to the workshops, there will be a craft talk and an “open-mic” session where students can gather together and share their work in an atmosphere conducive to the creative process.
Write Generation will be held Friday, April 13, 2018 at the new Williamson County Campus, Humanities Bldg., 1228, Liberty Pike, Franklin, TN. Please see link at the bottom of the page for campus information and map. Parking is free.
*For students wishing to participate but unable to drive to the Williamson campus, they can access the workshops, via computer, through a DVC link provided by the college.
RSVP to DRWC@columbistate.edu by Monday, April 9. Please let us know if you plan to attend in person or use the DVC link.
